Tip: Using Alerts


Intelli IM allows you to use the Alert Feature to stay on top of new messages or on top of the meetings.  The alerts are based upon the status of the app: app in the background or in the foreground.


When the app is in Background:


In order to Turn on/Off the alerts, follow the following steps:

• Go to Settings Tab
• Tap on Alert Sounds
• On Push Notification Sounds, you have two selections:  New Message and Meeting Start
• Tap on New Message and all the tones supported by the app will show up.
• Select the tone and then tap on Alert Sounds
• Similarly, you can select the sound for Meeting Start

When the app is in Foreground:


In order to Turn On/Off the alerts, follow the following steps:

• Select On/Off for New Messages
• Select On/Off for the Meeting Start
